We work with educators every day who are excited to integrate STEM into their school and we understand the #1 challenge can be getting the STEM budget. Unruly Splats can be found in schools in 50 states and counting, even states with modest school budgets. If you want to get Splats or any other STEM tool in your school, but are concerned about your school budget, these Unruly strategies are proven to work best:

Educate Key Players

  1. Assemble an Unruly Advocate Team: The fastest and most effective way to get Splats in a school is to get a team of Unruly educators at your school who are excited about Splats STEM learning. Splats are a school-wide resource and can be used by multiple classes in the same day by over 100+ students a day. There are no licenses or limits to accounts. The schools we’ve seen be most successful are the ones that are using it in multiple classes from STEM, PE, Special Ed, Gifted Learning, ELL, Technology, Libraries, After-School Programs, Social Studies, and SEL.

  1. Create a plan: Whoever makes the buying decisions at your school will want to see a plan for how to implement Splats in your STEM and non-STEM curriculum. We are happy to provide any resources you might need, and here are some resources to get you started:

If you need anything else, please reach out to us at education@unruly-studios.com and we are happy to help put your plan together.

  1. Pitch your plan: If you’d like us to be part of that conversation, we are happy to give an online demo (to schedule click here) and give examples of how other schools in your area are using Splats - join the movement!

Apply for a STEM Grant

If you have exhausted options within your school budget and would like to seek external funding, grants for school are a great alternative. Although Unruly Studios does not offer grants for schools directly, we’ve seen schools bring Splats to their school through federal, local, and private grants for school. One of our favorite grant resources is Stemfinity’s Grant Guide which shows federal and state-specific grants. Here are some items you may need to apply for a grant for Unruly Splats:

If you need any information from us to apply for a grant for school, please reach out. Most of our resources are found on our educators page.

We understand that the cost of our school plan might be outside of your individual school budget and we are committed to working with you to help get Splats in your school! To learn more about our school plans and see how Unruly Splats work, schedule a free demo with us below. We’d love to get to know your STEM goals and see how Unruly Splats can help you reach them.
