Unruly Studios Get Active Coding Challenge Award Official Terms and Conditions

These are the official Terms and Conditions that explain how the selection of the awardees of the Unruly Get Active Coding Challenge Award (the “Award”) will be determined. Please review these Terms and Conditions carefully. In these Terms and Conditions, “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Unruly Studios, Inc. the sponsor of the Award. “You,” and “your” refer to the Institution that is an eligible Award applicant and/or the individual completing the application on behalf of the Institution. By applying for the Award, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

NO PAYMENT, PURCHASE OR ACTIVITY BEYOND THE COMPLETION OF THE APPLICATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR RECEIVE THE AWARD. A PAYMENT OR PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF RECEIVING THE AWARD. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW OR BY THE RULES OF YOUR INSTITUTION.

1. Award Description

Eligible applicants may submit an application to receive the Award. One selected school, located in Massachusetts, will be awarded a 3-year 24 Splat plan. Application eligibility and selection will be determined using the criteria set forth herein.

2. Start and End Dates

The application period runs for 2 weeks, starting at 12 PM ET on Monday, December 6, 2021, and ending at 12 PM ET on Monday, December 20, 2021 (the “Application Period”). Applications must be received within the Application Period to be eligible. Any Applications received outside of the Application Period will not be considered.

3. Eligible Applicants

You are eligible to apply for this award if you meet the following requirements:
●The Institution is an elementary or middle school located the state of Georgia or the Commonwealth of  Massachusetts. 

● No person controlling the Institution is an employee of Unruly Studios or an immediate family or household member of an Unruly Studios employee ; and you are not involved in any part of the administration and execution of this Award.

4. Eligible Applications

Eligible applications are made via the complete, truthful and timely completion and submission of the Application.

5. Selection

The Unruly Studios team will select a winner by determining which school is the best fit for an Unruly Membership based on the application responses. The winner will be notified before or on Friday, January 14, 2021.

Applications that are late or incomplete will not be considered. 

Applicants that appear to appear to not be eligible (see 3 above) will not be considered.

6. Award

One school, located in Massachusetts, will be awarded a 3-year 24 Splat plan.

7. Notifying Awardee

If you are selected as an awardee, we will send a message to the email address, phone number, or mailing address associated with your Application within seven days following the selection. If we are unable to reach you within 7 days from our initial notification, we may give the Award to an alternate awardee.

8. Additional Conditions

By completing the Application and applying for this Award you verify and agree:

1. That you have the authority to do so on behalf of your Institution and to agree to these Terms and Conditions; 
2. That the rules of your Institution permit the submission of the Application and the receipt of the Award
3. To abide by these Official Terms and Conditions;
4. If selected, to abide by the Unruly Studios’, Terms and Conditions of Use, Privacy Policies, and other policies pertaining to the website;
5. That Unruly Studios’ decisions will be final and binding on all matters related to this Award;
6. That Unruly Studios may use your Institution’s name and location and the information you supplied in your Application  online and in print, or in any other media, in connection with this Award, without payment or compensation to you, except where prohibited by law;
7. That Unruly Studios may contact the educators at your school who would be interested in using Unruly Splats whom you have listed on your Application; 
8. That this Award will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of Massachusetts courts (state and federal) for any disputes arising out of this Award.
9. That you give permission to Unruly Studios to send a camera crew to your school at an agreed upon date and time to take photos and/or video of your students using Splats for marketing purposes. Unruly Studios will not publish the faces of students without signed parental consent forms.

The Unexpected

If a virus, bug, catastrophic event, or any other unforeseen or unexpected event that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled, (also referred to as force majeure) affects the fairness and / or integrity of this Award, or our ability to administer this process, we reserve the right to cancel, change or suspend this Award. This right is reserved whether the event is due to human or technical error. If a solution cannot be found, we reserve the right to select awardees from among all eligible Applicants received, or to cancel, change or suspend the Award.
